The women’s league in Ireland isn’t a fully-fledged league yet, but there are games held on every day there are mens games. You can check the men’s schedule for dates, and as the games are run side-by-side we’ll all be travelling together anyway. The women’s gamedays usually consist of a mini-tournament held throughout the day, or else a clinic in the morning followed by games.

Thanks for the interest but this site has only just really become functional. Our training will begin in september and we’ll post up here times and places. Jessica, our season is from september – may so unfortunately you wont be around.Jaclyn we train 2/3 times a week,but our womens team is only developmental at the moment.We are trying to recruit from the college and to really improve this year as our womens team has fallen apart by xmas each year previous. Most people will be complete beginners and any experience you would have would be a major help.We are doing a major recuiting drive this year to get a team in college and eventually outside of college too.At the moment our team is under the NUIG(local university) name for funding and to help with recruitment but eventually we want to get one set up outside aswell.If you need any more info contact us on galwaylax@gmail.com .
