Description of Services

Donations / Programme Support

Ireland Lacrosse, through its website and payment processor Stripe, accepts donations and fundraising support for a wide variety of programmes. Charitable receipts can be provided in Ireland and in the USA upon request.

Memberships

Membership is mandatory for any player, coach, or staff member to participate in Ireland Lacrosse events, including the Irish Lacrosse League (ILL) and National Team activities.

National Team & Development Events

  • Ireland Lacrosse manages the selection and training of National Teams for international competitions.
  • ID Events are advertised on our website and social media channels. Payments are handled via a direct link in our Membership Portal. Exact fees are published 3 months prior to ID events.
  • Participation in National Team Selection Events, International Tournaments and high-performance development events is by invitation only following a formal selection or tryout process.
  • Costs associated with these events are communicated directly to selected individuals in accordance with the Ireland Lacrosse NT Athlete Financial Policycoming soon and invoiced directly via Wise or Stripe.
  • Current ID and Selection Events information: View selection process and eventscoming soon
  • Player Fees & Invoicing: Selected athletes are responsible for costs associated with National Team participation (travel, tournament fees, etc.). Following selection, athletes will receive an official invoice and a secure payment link (issued via Stripe or Wise) by email. We do not publish these costs publicly as they are specific to each invite-only event.

Éire / Heritage Events

  • Ireland Lacrosse organises teams through our Heritage Programme to participate in events (Heritage Cup, LAXNAI, etc.) on a periodic basis.
  • Cost information and, where relevant, expressions of interest or public sign-up information is communicated via our website or Team Éire social media channels.
  • Ireland Lacrosse reserves the right to make a Heritage Event invite-only from time to time, in which case these events will be invoiced via Wise or Stripe.

Other Services

Ireland Lacrosse organises individual matchdays for the Irish Lacrosse League (ILL), coaching development clinics, and referee/umpire certification programmes through our membership system. Details are communicated on our website and relevant social channels.

These policies outline the expectations for our members and the administrative standards we uphold to support the growth of lacrosse in Ireland. By participating in our programmes, you agree to adhere to the terms detailed below.

Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

To ensure the safety and insurance coverage of all participants, all individuals must be registered members of Ireland Lacrosse in good standing to attend or participate in sanctioned events.

Conduct

  • Integrity and respect are core to our sport. All members, coaches, and players are required to adhere strictly to the Ireland Lacrosse Code of Conduct and our Social Media Policy.
  • High standards of sportsmanship are expected at all times, both on and off the field.
  • National Team Coaches and Staff must read and sign the NT Staff Safety, Welfare, and Integrity Policycoming soon.
  • National Team Athletes are required to sign an Athlete Commitment and Accountability Declarationcoming soon prior to participation at any Championship Event or Qualifier.

Personal data is collected solely for the purposes of membership management, ensuring health and safety during events, and essential communication regarding Ireland Lacrosse activities. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Memberships

Membership fees are vital for the operational support of the sport and are generally non-refundable once the season has officially commenced. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the board for documented exceptional circumstances.

Events & National Teams

  • Financial Responsibility: In the event that a refund is issued for a National Team event, the recipient is responsible for any bank charges or currency exchange differences incurred during the transaction.
  • Withdrawal Process: Athletes withdrawing from a national team event are required to read and understand the IL NT Athlete Financial Policycoming soon.

Delivery Policy

Digital Services

Ireland Lacrosse operates primarily through digital communication. Confirmation of membership and invitations to specific events or trials are delivered via email immediately following successful registration or selection. Please ensure your contact information remains up to date to receive these communications.


Purchase / Request Mechanism

Public Offerings

Users can purchase memberships directly through the Membership Portal.

Private Events

For National Team and invitation-only events, selected athletes will receive a private invitation via email containing a direct payment link to fulfil their player fees.
